Higley Leatherworks Production & Shipping Policy

1. Handcrafted Production Timelines

Because each of our items is meticulously crafted by hand, please allow time for our artisans to ensure your order meets our standards of excellence.

  • Standard Production: Typically takes between 2 to 4 weeks from the date of order, unless otherwise noted on a specific product page.
  • Custom Orders: Timeline for custom pieces is subject to the specific complexity and requirements of the order. Estimated completion dates for custom work will be provided during the design or consultation phase.

2. Shipping Carriers & Methods

We utilize trusted domestic carriers to ensure your order arrives safely.

  • Carriers: We ship via USPS, FedEx, and UPS.
  • Receipt Confirmation: For your security and ours, all shipments require receipt confirmation upon delivery.

3. Tracking Your Order

  • Notifications: Once your item has moved from the workbench to the shipping dock, you will receive a shipment confirmation email.
  • Tracking Numbers: A tracking number will be provided in your confirmation email, allowing you to monitor your package's progress in real-time.

4. Shipping Costs & Responsibility

  • Buyer Responsibility: All shipping and handling costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
  • Calculated Rates: Shipping fees are typically calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items and the destination address.

5. Ownership & Risk of Loss

Ownership of the product and the risk of loss pass to the buyer upon our transfer of the goods to the shipping carrier. We recommend monitoring your tracking information closely to ensure a successful delivery.  Once your order has left our facility and you’ve received a tracking number, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping carrier.

If your package is:

  • Lost
  • Marked delivered but not received
  • Arrives damaged

…we ask that you file a claim with the carrier directly.
